February Freeze heats up Pinewood Toronto Studios’ Mega Stage!
Date:
Tuesday, February 9, 2010 (All day)

For the first time ever, Pinewood Toronto Studios' Mega Stage was the venue for the 8th Annual February Freeze, hosted by William F. White International in conjunction with CineQuip White Inc. on February 9, 2010. A steady crowd of industry professionals sipped, nibbled and networked their way through a pre-NAB palette of the very latest production and technology innovations for the motion picture, broadcast and live entertainment industries. Guests were buzzing with excitement for what is shaping up to be a very promising year for film and television production in Ontario.

The fully catered event, which featured exhibitions from more than 45 of the industry’s most prominent suppliers (including many from the United States), brought hundreds of production professionals from across North America together with staff and executives from many of Toronto’s top production service providers. Award-winning DPs, department keys and some of the city’s busiest line producers were also in attendance at this exclusive, one-of-a kind showcase inside the Mega Stage.

“We made a deliberate decision to showcase this year's production technology at Pinewood Toronto Studios’ Mega Stage because we really wanted to excite the industry about everything our city has to offer,” said WFW Chairman Paul Bronfman. “Thanks to the good folks at Pinewood Toronto Studios, the event was a huge success.”
